ACT NOW: Letters of Support Needed for Better Northbridge Project

Better North Bridge Letters of Support

Earlier this month, we excitedly shared that Charleston County Council voted to direct staff to develop and submit a federal RAISE grant application for a Better North Bridge. This project includes a standalone bike/ped bridge over the Ashley River between North Charleston and West Ashley, as well as a safe multi-use path connection on the North Charleston side. The West Ashley side already has a multi-use path adjacent to Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, connecting to the Northbridge Park along the riverfront.

Letters of support are of notable importance for federal grant applications such as this, so we are assisting the County in collecting them from the community for inclusion in the packet.

Please email Info@CharlestonMoves.org if your company or organization is willing to provide one; we have a template to work from. Also, if you know of any other supportive entities, please spread the word. We will accept these until April 12, so time is of the essence!

Note: We are not accepting letters from individuals. Rather, we are looking for letters from any of the following: agencies, businesses and organizations (including neighborhood associations, nonprofits and clubs).
