Conservation Voters of South Carolina (CVSC) will be hosting a number of upcoming events “with the purpose of showing how conservation isn\u2019t simply a cause of the \u2018white and well-off\u2019 – highlighting the sometimes overlooked contributions, organizations, and issues that are important parts of what conservation and environmentalism is all about.”<\/p>\n
The first event is a screening of An American Ascent<\/a>, on Feb. 11th @ 6 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n “This documentary follows a group of nine mountaineers attempting to become the first all-African-American team to climb Mount Denali, North America\u2019s highest peak, on the 100th anniversary of its first summit.
