{"id":16390,"date":"2021-04-27T08:00:15","date_gmt":"2021-04-27T12:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/growpurpose.com\/charlestongood\/?p=16390"},"modified":"2021-07-06T16:41:47","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T20:41:47","slug":"chsvolunteers-meals-on-wheels-needs-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/growpurpose.com\/charlestongood\/chsvolunteers-meals-on-wheels-needs-you\/","title":{"rendered":"#CHSvolunteers: Meals on Wheels Needs You!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>From our friends at Meals on Wheels of Charleston&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This month we experienced a brand new momentous occasion! &#8211; We were able to add ALL of our waiting list clients to the hot delivery routes!<\/p>\n<p>In my 13 years at the center- this has NEVER happened!<\/p>\n<p>Now we need volunteers to help us delivery these happy meals to seniors in Charleston-that\u2019s where you come in!<\/p>\n<p>We are currently building teams to cover two new volunteer routes in North Charleston.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will need 10 volunteers who can commit to one day a week for 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li>The North Charleston routes would be picked up at Azalea Drive Church of Christ.<\/li>\n<li>The route itself should take about 2 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Food would need to be picked up by 9:30am.<\/li>\n<li>We will need volunteers Monday- Friday beginning at 9:30.<\/li>\n<li>Meals need to be delivered about the same time each day.<\/li>\n<li>No later than Noon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Feel free to use the Sign-up Genius link below to try out the route and- we know you will love it! &#8211; Then you can commit to a specific day.<\/p>\n<p>New volunteers would be trained on delivery procedure and COVID guidelines.
