En route, Hitnes\u00a0is producing\u00a0public murals torn from the pages of Audubon\u2019s sketchbook, and in SC, these murals will be in\u00a0Summerville and West Ashley (Avondale).\u00a0The focus of his art is the natural world, which will foster a discussion on the\u00a0connection between art and science. Actively painting murals for almost 20 years, Hitnes\u2019 work can be seen in Australia, China, New York, and across Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE LOCATION:<\/strong> The Joseph Floyd Manor\u00a0\u00a0is a retirement home in the Upper Peninsula run by the Charleston County Housing and Redevelopment Authority.\u00a0The building is located at the northwest corner of Mt. Pleasant St. and King St, and there is parking in the front and sides of the building.
