\nWSF\u2019s 12-week Surf Therapy program strives to enhance the psychological and physical well-being of Veterans, active duty service members and their families and teaches resiliency, positive psychology and goal setting. In 2023 alone, Warrior Surf Foundation<\/a> served over 190 Veterans and provided over 3,181 hours of direct support. They also have numerous fundraising events, such as their annual Charity Golf Classic, Yoga on the Yorktown event, Foam Frenzie Surf Competition and Surfboard Auction and Raffle.

\nJoin Charleston Climate Coalition<\/a> at their Monthly Meeting on May 29th at 6:00pm at the Charleston Workers Center<\/a> at the ILA Hall, 1142 Morrison Drive. They’ll be joined by the Lowcountry Action Committee<\/a> as they discuss the role of Black activists in the climate justice movement and the importance of Black folks leading the charge. Taking action on the Baker Hospital site as well as the County Climate Action Plan will also be part of the agenda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
