It&#8217;s educational, fun, beautiful,inspiring, and very accessible to the community, thanks to the friendly staff!<\/p>\n<p>In MUSC&#8217;s own words, the farm is &#8220;an educational garden with the goal of creating opportunities for our community to learn how to eat for health. The MUSC Urban Farm is designed to be a living classroom where students, faculty, staff, and the community come together to explore the connection between food and health through hands-on learning about  the many varieties of vegetables, fruit, and herbs grown in South Carolina.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>There are many ways you can participate:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Work and Learn:<\/b> Hands-on learning sessions throughout the week where you can occasionally even bring home some of the harvest in exchange for your labor. <i>Visit the web site for registration information.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Lunch &amp; Learn:<\/b> Informal gatherings featuring short presentations and opportunities to socialize. <i>Bring your own lunch. No registration required. <\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>Program Requests &amp; Reservations:<\/b> Customized tours, educational programs or other events. <i>Contact Farm for more details.
