After two years of shooting, the film is near completion and covers topics on walking and bicycling in Charleston like the controversial Ashley River Bridge bicycle lane.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nBackground:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The feature film Backpedal is a 70-minute documentary about the history of Charleston\u2019s \u201cbikeability\u201d and \u201cwalkability\u201d and its unwillingness to create safe infrastructure for anything but automobiles.
