As part of Pecou&#8217;s solo exhibition entitled DO or DIE: Affect, Ritual, Resistance at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, the artist will host the conversation on September 9th featuring Killer Mike, an American hip-hop recording artist and activist, and Dr. Arturo Lindsay, an artist and scholar who conducts ethnographic research on African spiritual and aesthetic retentions in contemporary American cultures. According to Pecou, \u201cThe goal of interSessions\u2122 is to provide a platform that reveals the often unconsidered intersections between the fine arts and hip-hop culture.
