Please plan to join us for some \u201cserious fun\u201d featuring live performances by a singer-songwriter, poet, & professional storyteller as well as art exhibits, pet therapy dogs, creative & fun hands-on activities & games, food trucks & more.\u00a0So, you probably have a good sense of \u201cliving fully,\u201d but what is \u201cdying well\u201d you might ask? Well, while it may sound surprising, it is a gift \u2013 one that you give yourself and those you love.<\/p>\n

The basics are simple \u2013 reflecting on your values, wishes & fears, talking with family & friends, getting things in order, and grieving fully in ways that honor the memories of those who\u2019ve died. And here\u2019s the best part, learning about dying well is really about making time to live fully \u2013 it\u2019s about focusing our \u201cone wild & precious life\u201d on what matters most in whatever phase of life you may find yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

We know that the arts are a wonderful, safe, even fun, way to approach what can be difficult topics. So, this festival is for everyone \u2013 whether 25 or 45 or 75; whether you are a healthcare professional or a family caregiver; whether planning way ahead or in need of some timely support. This unique festival includes:<\/p>\n

Performances by<\/strong>: Beth Nielsen Chapman<\/a>\u2013 award winning singer-songwriter<\/em>, Marcus Amaker<\/a>\u2013 Charleston\u2019s Poet Laureate<\/em>, and Regi Carpenter<\/a>\u2013 Professional Storyteller\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
