The play was written by a Charleston local and examines the tragic murder of Bishop William Alexander Guerry in 1928. <\/p>\n<p>In June 1928, William Alexander Guerry, a bishop of the Episcopal  Church, was shot and killed in Charleston, South Carolina. Until  recently, his death and the events     leading to it have been largely forgotten.
