Dear Friend,<\/em><\/p>\n

A strong sense of place rooted in a connection to our surrounding rivers and creeks is what makes this community so special. That’s why we’re working to expand our Water Quality Monitoring Program with a team of citizen-scientists to better monitor the health of your favorite waterways.<\/em><\/p>\n

Empowered by the Spaulding-Paolozzi Foundation and supporters like you, the citizen-science monitoring team will engage local folks in the hands-on stewardship of our waterways. It will also provide important data about the health of your favorite river or creek so it can be better preserved and protected as our community grows. But, most importantly, it’s a chance to be an active steward and develop a deeper personal connection to the harbor, rivers, and creeks that surround us.<\/em><\/p>\n

We need your help! Building a network of citizen-scientists won’t be fast or easy–it\u2019s an all hands on deck effort. But, together, we can empower our community to be stronger stewards of the rivers, creeks, and marshes that define us: CharlestonWaterkeeper.org\/citizen-science.<\/em><\/p>\n
