For the last few months, the Stone Soup Collective, a local nonprofit start-up aimed at nourishing Lowcountry citizens with delicious soup that feeds body and spirit, has been providing free soup for the Charleston Area Senior Citizens.<\/p>\n

\"17349682_1448249331881510_4067578500322898190_o\"<\/a>Now the Stone Soup folks are taking their organization to the next level with the launch of\u00a0their new commercial service,\u00a0which\u00a0is based on a “pay it forward” model that will make their social enterprise\u00a0more sustainable.<\/p>\n

On Mondays from 12 to 1:30 pm beginning October 9, they will be serving their house-made soups at The Schoolhouse at 720 Magnolia Rd. Both ready-to-eat, and jarred-for-take-away soup will be on offer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For every bowl purchased The Stone Soup Collective will gift a bowl to someone in our Lowcountry community in need.<\/p>\n
