It’s easy to get swept up in the wave of rampant consumption that has become the cornerstone of the holiday season. But there’s\u00a0another way \u2014\u00a0and some might argue that it’s\u00a0a far better alternative.\u00a0MAKE SMTHNG Week<\/a>\u00a0is here to provide a way to experience this alternative first hand.\u00a0During the week, people are encouraged to forgo shopping for new things and instead create, upcycle, repair, and share.\u00a0So far, more than\u00a080 events have already been confirmed on five continents.These 9\u00a0Shareable<\/a>\u00a0“how-to” guides are here to provide a little inspiration for\u00a0MAKE\u00a0SMTHNG Week<\/a>\u00a0events, both big and small. “<\/p>\n
