EHG offers In-school gardening, cooking, baking, marketing lessons while emphasizing sustainable practices; cultivating habits in our future citizens that help improve the environment and develop healthy lifestyles. EHG also connects the Charleston School District with a local organic farm: Joseph Fields. Charleston\u2019s youth have the opportunity to learn agriculture instruction from a 3rd generation local organic farmer. Hursey Elementary School in North Charleston &amp; (1) at Angel Oak on John\u2019s Island. We are grateful to our amazing volunteers who\u2019ve committed to donate their time and skills in the building out of the garden classrooms.
