Join Charleston Surfrider and the City of Folly Beach for a “Post-Christmas Parade Cleanup Competition” on Saturday, December 11th immediately following the 12PM Christmas Parade. All ages are welcome to participate!
Competition details are below:
-Participants are encouraged to pick up trash before, during and after the parade (please note, you must stay outside of the barricades before and during the parade)
-Meet Surfrider in front of St. James Gate once the parade is over and help us clean Center Street and other surrounding areas
-All supplies will be provided, but we highly recommend bringing your own, especially if you want to pick up trash before the parade 🙂
-Prizes for most trash collected will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
-Cleanup will end 30 minutes after the completion of the parade!
