The Newmarket Creek Sweep has a new date!
Due to inclement winter weather expected on January 29th we will be postponing the event until February 12th. The event will still take place at 10 am. Please email sustainableoceanalliancechs@gmail.com with any questions.
Join SOA Charleston, Charleston Waterkeeper, and Friends of the Lowcountry Lowline on
Saturday, January 29thfor our Newmarket Creek Sweep!We will gather under the overpass next to Palmetto Brewing on Huger Street downtown. Charleston Waterkeeper will provide grabbers and bags for trash pick up. Please wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Participants over 21 years of age will receive 1 drink ticket to Palmetto Brewing for a social hour after the event ends at 12 pm.
