- NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY @ the Beyond Our Walls GARDEN
BOWS is seeking a few volunteers (Diggers, builders, and general helpers – no special skills needed!) on Saturday mornings for a couple of hours, either for one Saturday or more.The garden is a vegetable patch and more. They are planting veggies and flowers and herbs, but the garden is designed as a window to the outside world as well—plants are linked to fables, old time toys, hands-on science activities, optical illusions and magic, far-away places… Here’s a chance to be a part of something special. Welcome session 5:30-6 p.m. Litter sweep until 7 pm.
We will celebrate Earth Month April 21!

7-8 am Wednesday Breakfast Club, May 28 to Aug. 27.
6-7 pm Mondays, June 2 through Labor Day.

Meet at the 1100 block of Ocean Boulevard beach access.
Our nook is next to Coconut Joe’s.
We have all the supplies you need.
Ask for a magnet for free parking in city lots during sweeps.
Clean for at least 30 minutes.
Enjoy a discount at a participating IOP restaurant after volunteering.
We happily sign for student volunteer hours.
