Virtual Kick-off Meeting

Interested in helping out your local salt marsh ecosystem? Want to become engaged in a new, community-level citizen science project? Join us for a kick-off virtual meeting to learn about a three-year initiative designed to engage Charleston communities in salt marsh restoration efforts. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.

As part of this event, you will:

  • Learn about the three-year, salt marsh restoration project lead by the S.C. Department of Natural Resources, in partnership with the South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium, Clemson Extension, and the S.C. Aquarium;
  • Discover ways in which to become engaged in restoration and citizen-science efforts; and
  • Become part of a community-wide network of volunteers who are involved in protecting this critical habitat!
