Join us for a family-friendly day exploring science and the natural world. Expect kid-friendly activities, informative booths and educational cruises aboard the SCDNR education vessel, the E/V Discovery. Find more info at www.dnr.sc.gov/marine/NERR.
No registration is required to attend. Park entry fee is waived for event participation (excludes the beach access parking).
Parking available at Live Oak Landing, follow the nature trail to the Learning Center from there.
Food truck on-site at lunch time.
The ACE Basin National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary!
As part of this incredible milestone, we would like to see the amazing pictures you have captured over the last 30 years while exploring the ACE Basin. Please submit your pictures by August 31st, 2022.

Registration is required for the Educational Discovery Cruise and will open on September 10th. Trips will leave the dock at 10:00AM and 1:00PM and all passengers must be 10 years or older. Spots are expected to fill quickly, there will be a waitlist at the event.
