The largest political rally in American history will occur across the nation Saturday, March 28, as millions of people turn out to participate in more than 3,000 No Kings events that are planned for every state in the nation and in some foreign countries.<\/p>\n
Why are we doing it? Because we must tell Donald Trump, his Republican sycophants and the world that we are sick of this madman and we\u2019re on the road to expelling him from our White House. The United States of America is coming back from the abyss.<\/p>\n
Following this paragraph are a few reminders of why we must expel him, and although there is nothing new here, nothing that you haven\u2019t read before, I hope that taking a comprehensive glimpse at some of Trump\u2019s atrocities will encourage you to attend.<\/p>\n
For starters, he is a mass murderer. He has ordered the murders of at least 159 helpless, innocent people in 46 strikes on boats that he says, without offering evidence, were bringing illegal drugs to America \u2013 which they almost certainly were not, and even if they were, drug running is not a capital crime.<\/p>\n
He is an adjudicated rapist; he was convicted of sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll but the trial judge said it was rape. Nearly 30 other women have publicly accused him of sexually assaulting them, including at least one woman who told the FBI he raped her when she was 13 years old. He probably has raped other children, and he certainly knew other men were raping children and did not report it. He is famous for being recorded bragging that he can grab women \u201cby their pussies\u201d and get away with it.<\/p>\n
He has been convicted of 43 felonies that involve falsifying business records in the hush\u2011money case stemming from payments tied to the 2016 election.<\/p>\n
He is a consummate liar. The Washington Post documented more than 3,000 lies that he told during the first time he occupied the White House, including telling an average of 19 lies a day at the end of his term, and he hasn\u2019t let up since then. If his lips are moving, he\u2019s probably lying.<\/p>\n
Even though illegal entry into the United States is a civil breach, not a crime, and although a growing majority of American citizens object, Department of Homeland Security figures show that through last month Trump had caused the arrest of 397,800 undocumented immigrants, deportations of 396,400, and is holding 68,290 in crowded, unsanitary, makeshift prisons scattered around America. Several persons have died under suspicious circumstances in those prisons<\/p>\n
His masked ICE agents, acting as his personal Gestapo, have killed at least three innocent American citizens. At least.<\/p>\n
The House of Representatives impeached Trump in 2019 because he abused his power as president by soliciting Russia to help his re-election bid, and then he obstructed the inquiry itself by telling his administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony. The Republican-controlled Senate exonerated him anyway.<\/p>\n
The House impeached him for an unprecedented second time two years later for “incitement of insurrection” for inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The Republican-controlled Senate exonerated him again.<\/p>\n
Trump is a coward who dodged the draft by claiming he had heel spurs, then celebrated by going skiing with his girlfriend (although he quit skiing early because she was a better skier than he was). And yet, he has no qualms about putting other people\u2019s sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and friends in harm\u2019s way by sending 2,500 Marines to Iran, a nation that posed no threat to us. So far, the war has killed six American servicemen, not to mention 1,400 Iranian civilians including at least 210 children, 108 of whom were killed in an American attack on an Iranian girls\u2019 school<\/p>\n
