T2T Project: Litter Brigade at Palmetto Brewery

T2T Palmetto Brewery final 3.09.17

Many thanks to those of you who came to the Palmetto Brewery Company last Thursday! We will continue to meet the next 2 Thursdays from 4-6pm at 289 Huger St in the neck of Charleston. Come out and join us!

This is a collaborative community building effort to get organizations to work together in order to build long-term solutions to multiple issues. Our goal is to focus on a group of diverse students who will participate in a series of educational events to be exposed to issues like learning to reduce pollution, building social enterprise, developing financial literacy, understanding renewable energy, and making better choices in regards to health and nutrition.

I am in the process of interviewing a number of families and potential students for our focus group. Most of these events will be open to the public. We encourage feedback and ideas for improvement.

This is an opportunity to educate and engage the community with some of the non-profits and people doing wonderful work around the city. This is intended to promote collaborations and reduce redundancy in order to maximize impact. These events will help participating organizations to increase their exposure, access shared resources, and raise funds.

My sincere appreciation goes to:
