A BioBlitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. Join Charleston Parks Conservancy and City of Charleston Rec Department for an afternoon at Moultrie Park to capture as many plants, animals and insects as possible on the National Geographic iNaturalist app to log local species.
Volunteers will be needed to assist with quick setup (first shift) and breakdown (second shift) of the event, as well as assisting attendees during the event to capture species on their phone, or to use their own phone if folks do not have a smartphone. Having a smartphone is required for this role.
