Community-Based Salt Marsh Restoration Project

The Charleston Area Community-Based Salt Marsh Restoration Project is a citizen science effort aiding in the restoration of living shorelines. This project is organized and lead by SC Sea Grant in collaboration with SCDNR, Clemson Extension, and the SC Aquarium. During the next phase of this project, we will transplant the mature Spartina plants into the salt marsh! Register by Monday, June 20th to volunteer for a 1 hour time slot at the following planting days

June 21: Folly Beach Landing
June 22: Folly Beach Landing
June 23: Folly Beach Landing
June 23: Turn of River
