National Pollinator Week Takes Place June 20th-26th!
National Pollinator Week is an annual event promoting the valuable ecosystem services provided by bees, birds, butterflies, bats, beetles, moths, wasps, and flies. Did you know all of these are considered pollinators? The City of Charleston recently became a Bee City USA Affiliate, and we are taking steps to educate our community about pollinator health, and habitat conservation. There are lots of ways to help our pollinators, but one easy way is creating natural landscapes with native plants that benefit pollinator species. Check out our list of native SE pollinator plants on our website, and consider adding some to your yard this year.
