Nov 22 – Gullah Book of the Dead

Please join Enough Pie and Community Project Grant recipient Ramona La Roche for the opening of her photography exhibition on Saturday, November 22 at 1630 Meeting Street from 11am-5pm with an artist’s talk at 4pm.

The exhibition includes photos of African American sacred burial grounds on the Charleston Peninsula and will be on display through the end of January 2015. The exhibition is funded by Enough Pie and Family TYES SC

La Roche and Dr. Ade Ofunniyin, Anthropologist and Director of The Gullah Society, will serve as Curators for the exhibit.
