About the Tri County Master Gardener Training Course
The next Tri-County Master Gardener Training Course for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties will begin Thursday, September 10, 2015. The Clemson Extension Master Gardener Training Course is a volunteer training program that requires 12 weeks of intensive instruction in fundamentals of basic horticulture and an additional 40 hours of volunteer service done over the following nine months to complete. Students selected for this training class will meet every Thursday from 9:30am-4pm at various locations within the tri-counties. The training fee is $300 but no funds will be collected until students have been accepted into the class. All applicants will be contacted directly using the email and/or phone number provided in their application to arrange a personal interview. Interviews will be conducted July/August.
