From our friends at Meals on Wheels of Charleston…
This month we experienced a brand new momentous occasion! – We were able to add ALL of our waiting list clients to the hot delivery routes!
In my 13 years at the center- this has NEVER happened!
Now we need volunteers to help us delivery these happy meals to seniors in Charleston-that’s where you come in!
We are currently building teams to cover two new volunteer routes in North Charleston.
- We will need 10 volunteers who can commit to one day a week for 2 hours.
- The North Charleston routes would be picked up at Azalea Drive Church of Christ.
- The route itself should take about 2 hours.
- Food would need to be picked up by 9:30am.
- We will need volunteers Monday- Friday beginning at 9:30.
- Meals need to be delivered about the same time each day.
- No later than Noon.

New volunteers would be trained on delivery procedure and COVID guidelines. PPE can be provided if needed.
