Our organic gatherings evolve according to the needs and desires of our participants, but center on supportive conversation, brainstorming, resource-sharing, project development, and collaborative planning and networking.
Given all that has happened recently in Charleston, we know that it is particularly important for folks to gather and connect with one another in a supportive environment.
So, bring your passion and purpose to our next gathering and see where our spirits lead us!
AGENDA
5:00pm – mingle/network/tabling
If you have promotional materials for your community work, please bring
them to share, while folks are arriving.
5:30pm – small group share circles
This time is for individuals to take turns talking about their community work
and ideas. What are your passions, your inspirations, your obstacles, your offers and
needs?
6:15pm – whole group discussion
What were some of the issues discussed in small groups? What projects or
actions are bubbling up?
6:45 – small group focus groups
Pick a group based on your preferred topic of the evening.
7:30pm – whole group wrap-up/announcements

*homelessness and food access/justice
*collaborative community media
*mini-workshops for grassroots groups
*community video / art projects
*liberatory education and local education reform
*collaborative group fundraising events

*voter registration and election campaigns
*improvements to #goodsharing platform (communication, resource sharing,
technology, etc.)

Our #Goodsharing Gatherings grew out of the success of our 3-day #Goodsharing Conference in April 2015, co-hosted by CharlestonGOOD & Building from the Block Up. Our ongoing goal is to help support one another in our positive community work through resource-sharing, collaboration and meaningful communication.
