Enough Pie’s Arts-Driven Community Collaboration “Awakening” Set For July 13!

ANNOUNCING AWAKENING: july 13th

Thank you for your patience & continued interest in Awakening – we are finally ready to wake this sleeping giant once and for all!

Awakening will be held on Saturday, July 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1600 Meeting. The event is free and open to the public.

The rooms and hallways of this 86-year-old vacant building will open to the public for the first time in decades, allowing for creative reinterpretation between building cleanup and renovation.

From glow-in-the-dark nebulas to boats, pop-up jungles to quilts and more, Awakening includes a variety of art forms and mediums: textiles, dance, interactive experiences, photography, glass art, sculpture, and even landscape architecture – all in a one-day, one-time only event. A complete list of participants will be maintained on the Enough Pie blog.

So let’s usher in an era of arts-driven community collaboration for the upper peninsula – join us for an Awakening you won’t likely forget.
