FARM TO TABLE FEED THE HUNGRY

Open to the Public.

The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to the need of the hungry in the community and to provide donations and support to the Destiny Community Cafe.

“We are really trying to do our part to help those in the community who are struggling with hunger and we can’t do it without lots of help. We appreciate all the awareness, in kind, & monetary donations we can get to further the mission of the cafe – sustainability is key.” said Ragina Saunders, owner of Scott’s Grand Reception & Corporate Center and Founder/Operations Manager of Destiny Community Cafe.

Attendees can enjoy a full meal, including salad, choice of entree, sides, beverage and dessert for a suggested donation of $10. Entertainment will be provided by the Plantation Singers.

All attendees are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items such as organic can goods or seasonings, dry beans, jarred seasonings, olive oil, tuna, salmon, sardines, dry pasta, rice, orzo, quinoa, canned or jarred fruit, and pickled vegetables.

Red Hat Ladies will be dressed in their signature red and purple to make the event festive and fun.
