This will be our last Compost Daze @ Shaw Garden for a few months, we will be rotating gardens moving forward.

Agenda: Painting Signage for the gardens, Cleaning up the garden grounds of all litter and extra lumber etc. Weeding and planting of some seeds
What to bring: Gloves, Painting supplies (Paint, Brushes Etc), Water, Bug Spray,

ABOUT COMPOST RANGERS
Compost Rangers seeks to engage members of the community in a collaborative effort to provide restaurants with a free organic waste collection service, using carbon-neutral methods to pick up and transport the compost debris. The goal is to redirect the organic waste stream from landfills into community gardens, where we manage the compost piles to generate nutrient-rich soil that keeps the garden…s thriving. Our service to the community transcends debris collection, as we also focus heavily on education and outreach by bringing people together and inviting them to join the “compost conversation,” an important narrative about our planet’s natural cycle of life, and our collective responsibility as humans to nurture the cycle, not neglect it.
