The CAMERADOS believe that there are only two things that really make a difference in life: purpose and friends.
With that in mind, they are developing programs and projects that address social problems by combining purpose and connection in unique ways.
Once such project is the Living Room Project on Blackpool, England.
Our “living room” inside the Central Library offers a bit of comfort and good company for everyone especially people feeling lonely and having a tough time. It’s run by people like that too. We are all camerados. Sofas, armchairs, cakes and coffee as well as “Pay it forward” meals for customers who can’t afford lunch.
