Joseph and Helen Fields, our amazing 3rd generation local farmers, will be hosting a Christmas Brunch/Fundraiser at the farm. We will be surrounded by the beautiful Johns Island landscape and the fields that feed so many of us.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to EHG farm program, allowing us to continue offering high quality, hands on education to the students of two local public Montessori Middle Schools.
About EARTH HEART GROWERS
Earth Heart Growers is a community project designed and implemented by Liz Ramirez, Alex Seaman, and Helen & Joseph of Joseph Fields Farm. We’re working with the Charleston County Public Schools to initiate a farm-to-school program, bringing children to the farm once weekly for the fall and spring growing season to learn what it means to grow your own food, care for the animals, and… prepare a meal for your friends. We began with a soft launch in 2016 with our pilot program at Hursey Elementary, and will expand to include 3 pilot schools come fall. The intention is to unite the family with the farmer, creating an awareness around healthy eating that will last a lifetime. We seek to enhance the educational offerings at the school and to create a dynamic program that integrates farming, school gardens and the home arts.
