What: a public lecture by Lawrence Bloom
How would you conserve water in 5,000,000 Intercontinental Hotel Group hotel rooms around the world, while still making a profit? How would you transfer these leadership and design skills to implementing global United Nations Sustainable Development goals, especially related to water?
For answers to these questions, come hear Lawrence Bloom, first Chairman of the World Economic Forum and former Chairman of the UN Environmental Programme.
Lawrence Bloom has been recognized as a top 25 most Conscious Global Leader; received a UN award from the Humanitarian Innovation Forum for Conscious Leadership; and is currently the Secretary General of the Be Earth Foundation, a UN Inter Governmental Organization that assists with the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He was also the first Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Global Agenda Council on Urban Management, and Chairman of the UNEP, Green Economy Initiative, Council on Green Cities, Buildings and Transport.
