Three awarded and acclaimed African-American visual artists join in an exhibition curated by Jonathan Green. The artists – Alvin Staley, Doris Colbert Kennedy, and Amiri Geuka Farris – are all masters of their materials and techniques, and their art reflects an evolving spiritual energy that honors the soul of life, belief, and heritage. Viewed individually and considered collectively, each artist’s work demonstrates the power of visual creative intelligence to profoundly communicate with others. This exhibition opens Saturday, January 25 with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m.
