Join us at this virtual forum to unite and fight for affordable healthcare for all through Medicaid expansion via the new COVID relief bill
About this Event
The new COVID relief bill (the American Rescue Plan) offers a significant incentive for the 12 states that have not expanded Medicaid to do so.
Attend this virtual forum to learn:
How the large $ incentive would lead to insuring ~200,000 more South Carolinians
How increasing health insurance coverage would improve health and boost the economy
A toolkit for contacting state elected officials will be shared.
Keynote speaker is Sue Berkowitz, Director of SC Appleseed Legal Justice Center. Other speakers will include Frank Knapp, Jr., President of the SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce.
