| After over a year of once-a-month gatherings, we hosted two #GOODHARING GATHERINGS in August and that really made it possible for a lot more folks to participate.So we’re holding two meetings in September as well!

SEPT 17 – BLACK INK
Nearly 40 African-American authors and hundreds of book club members and readers will converge at Burke High School for the 1st annual Black Ink: The Charleston African American Book Festival on September 17, 2016. The event is from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will feature a keynote address from Marcus Amaker, Charleston’s first poet laureate.

GUN SENSE SC NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT
Galvanized by the Emanuel AME tragedy in Charleston, Gun Sense SC was formed by an independent, grassroots group of South Carolinians working to reduce gun violence, while supporting the Second Amendment right of citizens to lawfully own guns.
