Coach with Us!
As our youth sports community continues to grow, the Recreation Department is seeking additional coaches. Volunteer coaches are the backbone of our program and we can’t do it without you! There is availability in all sports, age groups and areas.
Sports you can coach: tackle football, flag football, cheerleading, soccer, fall baseball & fall softball

The City of Charleston Recreation Department truly appreciates the community’s contributions that make our youth sports seasons successful.
Heading into the fall season, we are looking for a few umpires and referees to assist our fall youth baseball, softball, and soccer seasons! These are paid positions.

Promote your Business!
Sponsorships provide the opportunity for you to advertise your business or craft and support a local recreation program. The City of Charleston offers a wide variety of sponsorship levels that will fit your needs.
For the fall season, we are looking for team sponsors. Sponsor’s name and logo will be on the front of the youth team uniforms and will receive a plaque with a team photo at the end of the season. Sponsors may work with Youth Sports Coordinators to choose specific teams, sports, seasons, and ages they desire to target
