Community Video: The Importance of Fitness Equipment Fundraiser Made Clear

For those who haven’t heard yet, Metanoia and the Chicora Place Community Garden will be hosting an event this Saturday to raise money for outdoor fitness equipment:

SelectHealth of South Carolina and Amerihealth Caritas are being generous in donating a playground to our neighborhood at the Community Garden. Thankfully, their approach to the situation is similar to ours- listening to the community’s needs. There was a meeting set up at Freedom School to gauge input from the children that will be playing on the apparati, and then a meeting with neighborhood parents at the Community Garden; this video is a Channel 4 broadcast about the parent meeting.
