Join us for an engaging conversation about The Measure of Our Success: A Letter to My Children and Yours by
Marian Wright Edelman, and related community issues.
The book will serve as a starting point for a discussion of topics including parenting, the achievement gap and social justice.
The initial discussion, led by Dr. Consuela Francis of the College of Charleston, will take place in September with a follow-up gathering in October.
Refreshments will be provided.
