Local restaurants can cut down on food disposal costs by participating in Charleston County’s Commercial Food Waste Disposal Program.
Local farmers can, in turn, benefit from access to affordable quality compost. In fact, Charleston County offers incredibly inexpensive compost to the general public as well.
Closing this loop in the food cycle is obviously a big boon to our environment as well.
