Come out and support our youth as they celebrate Black History in creative and artistic outlets.
Participants will express what Black History means to them through music, song, dance, and spoken word. All participants in the event are all from different tri-county area schools, churches, and community centers whose age range from 4 to 20 years old.
Three Golden Eagle awards will also be presented at this program. The Golden Eagle award is given to a person who has actively given back and made a difference in their community through mentoring, teaching or just being a positive influence in the daily lives of the children in their area. This program is presented in partnership with Charleston Police Department, Charleston Weed and Seed and Coca-Cola Community Connections.
This unique event is open to all members of our community to come and enjoy.
