Ebony City Soccer Club is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a healthy and positive development opportunity to inner-city youth in the Charleston area.
Started on the peninsula’s east side back in 1981, ECSC is one of the longest running programs of its kind in the country.
Through a combination of year-round soccer training and off-the-pitch events and programs, ECSC provides an uplifting, educational and transforming experience to kids ages 5-16.
The club is serious when it comes to their code of conduct for players and families. Whether on the field or off, respect for others, oneself, and the community are shared expectations within the Ebony City family.
We are proud to feature ECSC as our cause of the month. Harambee!
