JOB TITLE: Garden Educator
JOB DESCRIPTION: This temporary contract position will work with MUSC Urban Farm to provide hands-on education in organic gardening. The Garden Educator will support the MUSC Urban Farm team to deliver educational programs on farming, sustainability, nutrition, and earth stewardship.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strong background in teaching adults and children in a garden setting with diverse knowledge of organic gardening techniques in an urban environment. Ability to care for a diverse array of plantings including annuals and perennials, food and native plants.
SUMMARY: Responsible for preparation, implementation and evaluation of MUSC Urban farm educational programming.
Clean criminal background is required. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
