Public restrooms are often a challenge in any city and downtown Charleston is no exception.
Still , in addition to the public restrooms at city parking garages, which will serve (usually) in a pinch, we do have a few very pleasant options available.
| Charleston County Library 68 Calhoun Street 9am-6pm (M-Sat) 2pm-5pm (Sunday) City Hall City Art Gallery Visitor’s Center |
Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center at Liberty Square 340 Concord Street 8:30am-5pm (Daily) Charleston Maritime Center Dock Street Theatre for more parks with restrooms |
If you happen to be on the upper peninsula, we recommend the restrooms at Hampton Park.
And if you find yourself on the other side of the bridge, you can take care of business at the
Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.
If you know of other good public restrooms available in Charleston, Please let us know!
