The ideal candidate has knowledge, experience, and skill in organic fruit and vegetable production, a passion for working with young people and volunteers, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.”
CHARLESTON FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY – Operations Manager
“The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for managing and coordinating all operational aspects of the Charleston Friends of the Library (FOL), primarily the successful execution of all book sales and events. OM works to recruit and manage volunteers and vendors associated with all book sales and events. The OM handles day-to-day administrative duties and financial transactions, prepares reports for the FOL board of directors, and completes other tasks as assigned by the board. The OM is the only employee of the FOL and reports to the president of the board and works closely with the full board to advance the mission and activities of the FOL. This is a full-time salaried position and the OM is expected to work weekends and after-hours as needed.”
