Given the surge in awareness that we should all be more engaged participants in our democracy and civic life, we thought it would be helpful to create a new resource hub committed to civic engagement.
While non-partisan in nature, #GetInvolvedCharleston is based on the belief that there are certain inalienable rights and responsibilities that are basic in a just society, and we must work together in support of these shared values.
We have put together both local and national resources to make civic engagement easier and more effective for individuals and organizations in the Lowcountry working toward social and environmental justice.
