Charleston UP Gathering Event

5:00 – 6:00 PM: Hands-on Workshop
6:00 – 7:30 PM: Gathering Event
The theme for the month of July is MATERIALS!
Join us 6:00 – 7:30 PM for the Gathering Event with food from Cru Catering, local beer from Revelry Brewing and great speakers, including our sponsor from South State Bank!
Prior to the Gathering Event, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Perrin Woodworking & Green Heart Project will be conducting a hands-on workshop to teach participants how to construct raised beds for your garden! A suggested donation of $25 will be appreciated for the workshop; the funds will go towards raised beds for schools in the Upper Peninsula.
Learn more about the guest speakers from the local businesses that contributed their materials for the raised beds: Carolina Lumber Sourcing, All Seasons Mulch, The Workbench, Perrin Woodworking, Green Heart Project.
Kits will also be available for purchase to make your own raised bed at home!
As always, these events are free and give you the opportunity for outreach, networking, and getting to know our neighbors in the Upper Peninsula, along with some brief updates on projects and engaging activities to help shape our CharlestonUP!
