Affordabike Presents “Going Places” Family Ride

Come join Affordabike on our monthly slow ride where we are raising awareness for local cycling and also raising funds for a great cause!

Going Places is the 501(c)3 non profit that gave 550 bikes to all the kids at Pepperhill Elementary last year! Affordabike has teamed up with Going Places “Give a Bike, Give Joy” campaign to design 300 custom bikes for Mt. Zion Elementary, a title one school on Johns Island with a majority of low income students. The bikes will be revealed on May 1 of this year! A suggested $15 donation will help greatly with the purchase of these bikes.

Meet at the store at 6 and leave for the ride at 6:30. We will do an abbreviated slow ride around town and then end back at the store for free food and drinks. After the ride we will have a raffle for a $350 gift card for a custom bike that can be designed at BildaBike.com.

Tickets are $6/one and $10/two and 100% of the proceeds go to Going Places.

Before the ride we will also have some wooden obstacles for kids to ride so if you want to try those out come early around 5:30-6!
