Dance Journeys: The Light of Bahá’u’lláh’s Teachings

Salsa, West African, Tango, Afro-Cuban, step dance, live drumming, and music- join us for an evening of ethnic dance celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah, the prophet and founder of the Baha’is Faith. Multiple choreographers, members of various dance companies, and local musicians and drummers will come together for this celebration.
Guest speaker, Dr. Hoda Mahmoudi, Bahá’í Chair for World Peace at the University of Maryland, will be giving a brief overview of the significance of this day for millions worldwide.
